Parents' Corner
The Library offers many services and materials for parents, caregivers and other adults concerned with children's growth and well-being. The Children's Librarians will be happy to share information on children's and parent's library programs as well as help you locate the materials you need. Homeschooling families may arrange for a tour of the library by calling the department at 581-9200 ext. 6.
All children are welcome in the Library; but for their safety, no child under 9 years of age may be left unattended at any time, anywhere in the library. For the safety and protection of your children please remain with them. Even in the friendly atmosphere of the Children’s Room, youngsters are at risk of harmful accidents or incidents that could otherwise be prevented with parental supervision. Librarians and support staff cannot be responsible for overseeing individuals, and we do want your child’s visit to the library to be a happy and rewarding experience.
